Hi! I wish that there will be an email link button in the menu for the next release of K-M because it is very useful. And I also want to see an email text button in the menu for that matter. I know that there is a macro made for it at the moment but I want it to be built in if you know what I mean.

Yours: Rapido

Rapido I agree - it would be good!
For the time being. Eyes-Onlys skins offer something similar and a good how too!

I am working on a translation script (java.script based help to translate menus and toolbar.... from English (or German) to any language - the third version will be designed to translate his Netscape Modern (with a few extras such as jsnj´s return to where You stoped last session // in short based on my browser as i have it now).

I will post here, when i am finished! greetings to Sweden

No need of this in official button, or commented for having choice to keep it or not.

Some toolbars are on resources pages, and I think it's enough.

Also, an other reason, is the fact that buttons are parts of themes. it's then necessary to add it to all the themes.

In fact, the real evolution is to have an other way of managing themes and skin to make it easy.

I have read some post of Marc about this topic, but I don't know where is the reflexion, and if the next release will take it.

hi alain,
thx for info.

and if not finished? // maybe include a alternative theme with alternative profile -
issued with install - and tell new users what it is, a k-m that has included almost any requested feature the macros can give (a little bloated perhaps?).

That it can be altered by any user her/himself (&and make more comment into this specific profile as learning profile?) and make a back to default button in "manage profiles" - for those that do not know securities like backup?).

guess that is too fantastic since most are more user only types; )
have a nice weekend & greetings

p.s. as it is: i am working on a translation help js that is based on Eyes-Only´s NetscapeModernTheme. It will include everything that i personaly use.
Since i am left in the dark as to what new menues include or do not - i will do this.

Rapido,

Your idea is a good one. Having it all built-in would be a very nice update for K-Meleon. As you know from my posts, I use the Early blue theme and have the email button. I also use the email macro, but it sure would be nice to have that as a regular option.

My Early Blue toolbar has most of what you and others have built and much appreciated.

i am a private person not k-m - it is not an update.

the script that i try to write: will help to translate menus, toolbar & macro files to any given language. I am through with menus now, next will be toolbars and macros:

The default translation of the form is to German
(the transaltion that people "over-write" is German //when they use the form)

The part of the form to over-write? to get their native translation is German - a Romance laguage or several to over-write would be better but i speak German; )

One version will translate standart 0.8. issue
One version will translate One-Eyes theme additions

(e-mail button and all and jsnj macro.. all i use or that is asked often....).
[There are several good reasons for choosing his theme, one is that i use it smiling smiley ].

Yes a built-in email button that would allow you to open any email program or any webmail. That would be nice.
